He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Ehmen and Emma White Ehmen; his former wife Gwen White; his sister Harriet Ehmen Hutchison; and his grandson Nick Hoffman.
He is survived by: his wife Alice; his children, Jeff Ehmen (Lisa) of Harvest, AL, Becky Hoffman (Jeff) of Mesa, AZ and Dr. Scott Ehmen (Elizabeth) of Warsaw, IN; his granddaughters, Brooke Simmons, Brenna Ehmen and Kelly Kessel; his great grandchildren, Rille Simmons and Ruthie Kessel; his sister-in-law Harriett Eckberg; his niece Dawn Foster; and his nephews, Mike McDaniel, Tim, Matt and Eric Eckberg. He is also survived by stepchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
