Bird of La Salle, Illinois, born in Oak Park, Illinois, who passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Ken Bishop and Irene Bishop (Boeldt); her brother Mark Bishop; and her brother-in-law Walt Bird. She is survived by : her husband Rich of La Salle; her children, Jason Pruitt (Staci) of Oglesby and Carrie White (Darrell) of Mesa, AZ; her stepchildren, John Bird of Florida and Mary Knogel of Des Plaines; her grandchildren, Turner Pruitt (Morgan), Taylor Pruitt, Trevor Pruitt, Kylee Noel (Ty), Emma Gochanour (Ethan), Landen Gochanour, Matt Knogel and William Knogel; her great grandchildren, Kairi, Lydia and Atticus; her brother Chris Bishop (Liz) of St. Charles; and her sisters-in-law, Susie Bishop of Belvidere and Mary Lou McCullough of Ottawa. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Zion United Church of Christ (1521 6th St, Peru, IL 61354). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
