It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bruce R. Brantner Sr. of La Salle, Illinois, who passed away on May 25, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, may Bruce find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond and Winifred (Echardt); and his son Bruce Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Mary Beth (Cicci); his daughters, Tara Wood (Michael) of Savannah, GA, Lane West (Susan Turley) of La Salle, Noreen Brantner (Rene Belanger) of Utica, Amity Comiskey (Kerry) of Hinsdale and Desiree Brantner (Taylor Klatt) of Spring Valley; his grandson William; and his brother Ronald Brantner of Missouri. He is also survived by niece and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ptak Funeral Home (1026 4th St, Peru, IL 61354). A reception will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
