He is survived by: his wife Janet Pottinger; and his children, Jeffrey Newcomer (Mary) of Dimmick, Carrie Hilsgen (Bruce) of La Salle and Sara Nolan (Todd) of Carol Stream. He is also survived by Eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for his favorite charities.
