He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Byrne and Frances Byrne Sr. (Kierski). He is survived by: his wife Sarah Coop of La Salle; his children, Tina Katzwinkle (Curtis Murphy), John Byrne Jr. of Granville, Sarah Forney (David) of Tonica, Owen Byrne of La Salle, Michael Byrne (Jamie) of La Salle, William Byrne (Tiffany) of La Salle and Violet Miller of La Salle; and his brother Owen Byrne Jr. (Annette) of Peru. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
