He was predeceased by : his parents, John J. Duncan and Josephine Duncan Sr. (Steinz). He is survived by : his wife Patricia Smith of La Salle; his nieces and nephews, Kimberly Middleton, Kelly Krapf, Kyle Krapf, Elizabeth Zemann (Tim Cole), Katherine Zemann (Mike Plochocki), Colleen Heredia (Greg), Gary Zemann, Jr., Ashley Emmerling (Adam) and Erin Stanford; his aunts and uncles, Hutton Krapf, Alexandria Heredia, Mariah Plochocki, Daniel and Ian; his sisters-in-law, Deborah Inman (Mark) and Sherry Stanford (Troy); and also Colin Middleton.

A Mass was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St Mary Catholic Church (1316 6th St, Peru, IL 61354).
