With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Judith Green of La Salle, Illinois, who passed away on April 30, 2026 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Judith is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Judith's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Braun and Evadean Braun (Schafer); her husband Maikel Green; and her brothers, Allan, Roger and Donald Braun.
She is survived by: her daughter Becky Haydu (Darren) of Heyworth; her grandson Austin Maikel Haydu; and her sister Diana Julian (Doug) of Arizona.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, May 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hurst Funeral Home (650 5th St, La Salle, IL 61301). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
