He was predeceased by: his parents, James Taylor and Rosalia Taylor (Waters); his wife Barbara Danczak; his daughter Tracy Hamrick (Taylor); and his brother Pat Taylor.
He is survived by: his daughter Tammy Carey (Kevin) of Oglesby; his grandchildren, Kendra Heiden (Mike), Kelsey Pezanoski (Brock), Courtney Curley (Justin), Clayton Hamrick (Ashley) and Alyssa Bradley (Ryan); his great grandchildren, Jack, Lyla, Luke, Van, Ellie, Beau, Rosie, Taylor, Tracy, Tyler, Delilah and Jaxson; his son-in-law Jeff Hamrick; his siblings, Mary Quesse (Jim) of La Salle and Tim Taylor (Jill) of Hoschton, GA; and his sisters-in-law, Georgianne Taylor of Peru, Chris Jackson of Peru and Carla Danczak of La Salle.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Church (725 4th St, La Salle, IL 61301). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
