He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Smudzinski and Nancy Smudzinski (Essl); and his grandparents, George, Toni Essl, John and Mary Smudzinski.
He is survived by: his daughters, Angela Smudzinski of Peru and Abby Smudzinski of Peru; his brothers, Michael Smudzinski (Michele) of La Salle and Matthew Smudzinski (Sherri) of Oglesby; his friend Jason Quinn of La Salle; and his nieces, Leah, Madelyn and Emma Smudzinski. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for a trust that will be established in his daughters' names.
