It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anita J. Petrich of Lacon, Illinois, who passed away on July 24, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Barney Flynn and LeVeta Flynn (Sweezer). She is survived by: her children, Thomas Petrich (Diane) of Carol Stream and Carol Petrich of Tomball, TX; her grandchildren, Kiri Leonard (Daniel) of Carol Stream and Nicholas Petrich (Kelsey) of Iowa City; and her great grandchildren, Zechariah, Chloe, Emma Leonard, Carson, Nolan and Spencer Petrich.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Lacon Congregational Church (205 N Prairie St, Lacon, IL 61540). A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
