Janet leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Janet’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Janet will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John L. Weekly and Mary Elizabeth "Peg" Weekly (Herridge). She is survived by: her husband Carl E. Nave Jr. of Lacon; her children, Amanda Silberer (Steve) of Macomb and Eric Nave (Jocelyn) of Morton; her grandson Jon Carl; and her sisters, Judith Hahn (Karl) and Jean Janes (Bob).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Timber Ridge Golf Course (1400 IL-17, Lacon, IL 61540).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Janet's honor to the ARK Animal Shelter in Lacon, Illinois, or VITAS Healthcare/Hospice (Peru Office).
