She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe Phillips and Elizabeth Phillips (Topham); her sister Maxine Swanson; and her grandson Robert James Newman II. She is survived by: her children, Robert H. Newman (Diane) of Varna, Jill Conrad (Robert) of Sparland, Sandy Gaines of Murfreesboro and Shirlee Burris of Interlachan, Florida; and her grandchildren, Kristen, Trupti, Erikka, Alexandra, Michele, Sam, Mike and Hope. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchild.
