With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wayne H. Benson of Lacon, Illinois, who passed away on November 12, 2025 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Bill, Doris Benson and Janet Hexter-Reed. He is survived by: his parents, Wayne Benson and Rosana Benson (Reed); his wife Dawn Craig; his children, Alexis Reid (Andy), Hunter Benson and Lauren Benson; and his siblings, Brett Benson and Janet Benson. He is also survived by nine nieces & nephews.

Burial will be in the Lacon Cemetery and memorials could be made to Saint Jude or the Midland High School Boys Basketball program.
