He was predeceased by: his parents, James Leonard and Willa Leonard; and his brothers, James, Theodore and Vaughn.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Leonard; his children, Elise Kroll (Brian), Garrett Leonard (Tami), Todd Leonard (Nikki), Bryan Leonard (Melisa), Kristen Kehoe (Peter), Jason Leonard, Kari Maske (Donny), Shawn Leonard (Karolina) and Kevin Leonard (Paige); his grandchildren, Kevin, Kyle, Colin, Tamryn, Garrison, Taylor, Teegan, Caleb, Myko, Jack, Eli, Charleigh, Kaiya, Landon, Alexandra, Sebastian, Parker and Vaughn; his sister Bethoe Monson (Richard); and his sister-in-law Grace Leonard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hitzeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services (9445 31st St, Brookfield, IL 60513). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hitzeman Funeral Home Ltd. (9445 31st St, Brookfield, IL 60513). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at the Clarendon Hills Cemetery (6900 S Cass Ave, Darien, IL 60561).
