He was predeceased by: his spouse Marowyn J. McKune; and his parents, John McKune and Marie McKune. He is survived by: his sons, John McKune (Lisa), Michael McKune (Kelly), Robert McKune and James McKune (Karen); and his grandchildren, John (Abby), Michael, Charlie, Luke McKune, Declan, Bridget McKune, Jessica and Patrick McKune (Anna).
A wake will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church (410 N 1st St, Cary, IL 60013). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the All Saints Catholic Cemetery (700 N River Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016).
