She was predeceased by : her parents, Clayton Carey and Bernice Carey; her brothers, Jim Carey (Phyllis) and Bill Jones (Midge); her niece Judy Jones; and her great-niece Megan Jones Garrity.

She is survived by : her friend Jan Barber; and her nieces and nephews, Bob Carey, Jeff Carey, Kathy Modeen (Donn) and Pat Jones Garrity (Pete). She is also survived by children and grandchildren.
