Annette leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Annette’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Annette will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Weyrich and Anne Weyrich; her husband Louis Kaefer; her sisters, Rosemary, Carol and Doris; and her son Robert Tekampe.
She is survived by: her children, Roberta Johnson (James), Gary Kaefer (Jane), Kurt Kaefer, Gregory Kaefer (Christine) and Eric Kaefer (Modesta). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Church of St. Mary (175 E Illinois Rd, Lake Forest, IL 60045). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
