Bob Bartlett Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bob Bartlett (Lake Forest, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 5, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Bob may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert C. Bartlett and Rita E. Bartlett; and his siblings, Beverly and Jeffrey. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou; and his daughter Brooke (Austin). He is also survived by loving extended family, including his brothers- and sisters-in-law, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (928 W Everett Rd, Lake Forest, IL 60045). A Mass will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made on Bob's behalf to the Alzheimer's Association at https://www.alz.org., in honor of his late mother and sister, or to Aid for Women at https://aidforwomen.org., in honor of him and his wife's shared dedication to the cause.
