She was predeceased by: her husband Allen Howes; and her son Reverend Bruce Becker Howes. She is survived by: her daughter Marian Victoria Howes-Minorini; her children-in-law, Joe Minorini and Patricia Howes; her grandson Kenneth Howes (Diane); her great grandchildren, Charlie and Morgane; her grandson David Howes; and her nephews, Steven Blakeslee, Robert Blakeslee, Scott Howes and Mark Howes.
Connie believed deeply in giving back and supported causes close to her heart, including Doctors Without Borders, Northern Illinois Food Bank, Geneva Foundation, and the Chicago Botanic Garden. In lieu of flowers, the family of Connie encourages memorial contributions to be made to these organizations or a charity of your choice.
