He is survived by: his parents, Patricia Gaughan and Walter Gaughan; his wife Marianne; his brother Martin Gaughan (Maribeth); his sons, Kevin Gaughan (Emma), Kyle Gaughan (Kirby) and Quinn Gaughan (Maria); and his grandchildren, Eloise, Beau, Millie (Kevin), Maeve and Elliott (Kyle).
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Church of St. Mary (175 E Illinois Rd, Lake Forest, IL 60045). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
