With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jane E. Hush of Lake Forest, Illinois, who passed away on September 9, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Jane farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Jane is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Warner Parker and Dr. Robert Frederick Parker. She is survived by: her husband Howard; her children, Laura and Andrew; and her children-in-law, Jordy and Gina.
She made significant contributions to the Deerfield branch of the American Association of University Women, and was involved with the League of Women Voters, her churches, prayer groups, book groups, and groups of friends.
