He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Doninger and Bertha Doninger; his son Joseph E., Jr.; and his brother Werner Doninger. He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his sons, Nick (Sandra) and Stephen (Courtney); his grandchildren, Anna, Elle, Will, Talia and Julian; and his brother John Doninger.
