It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kathleen Whittaker in Lake Forest, Illinois, born in Lowell, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 2, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Katherine Martin and Rodger Martin; and her brothers, Rodger, James and Peter Martin.

She is survived by : her husband Forrest Whittaker; her children, Katherine Walsh (Daniel), Michael Whittaker (Karoline) and Susan Loiacano (Michael); her grandchildren, Caroline, Patrick, Brendan, Rodger Walsh, Forrest, Henry, Thomas Whittaker, Sophie and Nina Loiacano; her siblings, Brian Martin (Elise), Liz McNamara (Kerry) and David Martin (Melissa); and her siblings-in-law, Linda Martin, Lainey Martin and Kenneth Whittaker (Margaret). She is also survived by many godchildren, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.

In lieu of flowers and in keeping with her request there be no hoopla, Kathy's family encourages loved ones to remember her by enjoying a long walk, a great meal, a good laugh, or an extra-large Dunkin's decaf with cream.
