He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Cesarina Grubich and Stanley Grubich; his wife Christine "Tina" Hamerlak; his children, Kristie (John Carlson), Todd (Cassie) and Stacey Wright (Dan); his grandchildren, Cameron, Greyson and Leah; and his siblings, Janet Meister (Bill), Joanne Meierkort (Norm) and Terry Grubich (Mary).
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of St. Mary (175 E Illinois Rd, Lake Forest, IL 60045).
