She is survived by: her husband Jack Wright; her daughters, Joanna Claypool Walla (Derrick Stout) and Melissa Claypool Brohan (Shawn Cunningham); her grandchildren, Taylor Wagener (Bea) and Hollister Brohan; her great grandchild Everett; and her stepchildren, Wendy Mospan (Mike), Aimee Farrell (Mike), Shawna Bartimoccia (Dennis) and Tim (Amy). She is also survived by 10 step grandchildren and 7 step great grandchildren.

“I didn’t know that Mary Ellen was ill! The last time I spoke to her was in the spring and she was playing golf. I’ve emailed her twice with no response….. so I got a weird feeling and did a name search. Sadly, found this obituary. My late husband and I traveled with her and Jack on world cruises. We stayed in touch since then. My condolences to the family. I’m sad I didn’t get to talk to her before she passed.”
