It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy J. Verkler of Lake Forest, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on May 25, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, James S. Flanigon and Beatrice Flanigon (Tinen); and her brother James T. Flanigon (Salete). She is survived by : her husband Dick (Dick); her children, Richard A. Verkler (Marianne), Cynthia M. Wade, Jennifer C. Marshall (James) and Wendy E. Verkler; her grandchildren, Jonathan Verkler, Ann Marie Verkler Sorensen (late Carl), Kevin Verkler (Alana), Sarah, Rachel Wade, Madelyne and Bridget Marshall; her great grandchild Oliver J. Verkler; her sister Kathleen Flanigon Naab (late Robert); and her siblings-in-law, David Verkler (late Betty) and Linda Verkler (Edward Zempel). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
