He was predeceased by: his parents, Kurt Kaeske (Hedwig) and Eccius; and his foster parents, Hershel Brauer and Alice Brauer. He is survived by: his wife Brigitte; his children, Al Hamilton (Jenny), Barbara Contorno (David), Alexandra Buxbaum (Michael) and Laura Nieder (Gregory); and his grandchildren, Rachel and Jason Nieder.
