She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfredo Pelagio and Erlinda Pelagio; her sister Edelmina Maranan; and her brother-in-law Jesus Maranan. She is survived by: her husband Calvin Gapinski; her stepchildren, Calsey Fernandez (Samuel), Allyson Walton, Corine Barrera, Russell Walton (Jenn), Jeremy Walton (Lori) and Nathan Walton (Lori); her grandchildren, Sienna Fernandez, Eliza Walton, Macee Walton, Carlee Walton, Ethan Walton and Kiera Helman; and her siblings, Ariel Pelagio (Grace), Jinky Pelagio, Arnold Pelagio (Elpha) and Patricia Pelagio (Darwin).
