He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Welch and Jeanette Welch (Swierenga); and his brother James. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Amy, Jonathan, Nicole, Timothy and Amanda; his grandchildren, Meaghan (Mateo), Mallorie, Jonathan, Averie, Noah, Ruth, Johnny, Adaline and Laura-Jean; his siblings, Connie, Duane, George and Bonnie; and his stepbrothers, Dean (Linda) and Ed (Nita).
