It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ray Deckert of Lake Villa, Illinois, who passed away on February 9, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Deckert and Dorothea Oratowski; his wives, Jan Gohs and Lorene; his son Ross; and his brother David.

He is survived by: his children, Ray (late Cheryl), Ryan, Reid, Rhett (Kristin), Rhonda (Jason), Robyn (Derek) and Renny; and his siblings, Carol (late Andy), Sandy, Wanda (Pat), Nancy (Don), Marcia (Jim) and Paul (Edwin). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren.
