With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Robert J. Higgins of Lake Villa, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Robert may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his father Robert Higgins; and his brother Michael Higgins. He is survived by: his mother Marianne Higgins; his wife Kimberly Higgins; his sons, Zackery Higgins (Melissa Olsen) and Payton Higgins; and his sisters, Christine Konopacki and Marianne McDermott (Steve). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Gilbert Catholic Church (301 E Belvidere Rd, Grayslake, IL 60030). A Mass will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital.
