He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Ligeski and Eleanor Johnson; his daughter Melanie Peterson; and his stepfather Harold Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Kloss; his son Ronald Ligeski, Jr. of Lake Villa, IL; his son-in-law Gregg Peterson of Trevor, WI; his grandchildren, David May (Daniella) of Burlington, WI and Courtland May (Seina) of Silver Lake, WI; and his sisters, Terrie Kaczmarek (Eugene) of California and Janice Larson (Jim) of Duluth, MN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
