She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Mecham and Fern Mecham; her husband William J. Gerhardt; and her siblings, Sonny' (Sally) and Lois (Jerry).

She is survived by: her sons, Bill (Sandy), Mark, Tim (Kathy) and John; and her grandchildren, Sarah, Aaron of Samantha, T. J., Jonathan, Ray, Zack, Leander, Ferryn, Alex, Levi, Chloe, Maverick, Logan and Halen.
