He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn Belter; his daughter Barb Belter; his parents, Charles Belter and Dorothy Belter; and his sister Pauline Belter.

He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Wade (late Dan), Lori Harris (David), Chris Millsop (Dirk) and Carol Kaht (Phil); and his grandchildren, Jennifer, Matt, Daniel, Carly, Forrest, Megan, Kristen, Amanda, Lauren, Mallory, Doug, Josh, Nathan and Lucas. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.
