It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles E. Crouch of Lakewood, Illinois, who passed away on February 10, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Russell" Crouch and Ethel Pearl Crouch (Burrus); his brother Carl Crouch; and his grandparents, Elmer and Myrl Burrus.

He is survived by: his wife Sandra S. Lorton; his children, Rick Crouch (Kim) of Cowden, IL, Rodney Crouch (Karen) of Highland, IL, Lesa Nohren (Wayne) of Lakewood, IL and Cody Crouch of Shelbyville, IL; his grandchildren, Jami Stone (Josh) of Effingham, IL, Amber Atchley of Highland, IL, Justin Crouch (Yoshimi) of Zushi City, Japan and Joey Crouch (Sonja) of Brecksville, OH; and his great grandchildren, Haley Atchley, Shelby Stone, Justin Crouch, Chloe Atchley, Kelcy Stone, Elliot Crouch and Audrey Crouch.

Memorials may be given to Workshop of Wishes or Shelbyville Manor.
