He is survived by: his children, Theresa Wemlinger, Herbert Vogt (Charlotte), Mark Vogt (Randi), Rita Alwin (Jeff) and Melinda Hack (Tony); his grandchildren, Andrew, Mark, Morgan, Jeffrey, Sean and Jason; and his great grandchild Andrew.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
