He was predeceased by: his parents, Almus Ross and Rosalie Ross; and his brother-in-law Jim. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ross; his sons, Joshua Ross and Michael Ross (Nicole); his grandchildren, Lochlan and Imogen; his sisters, Sandy (late John), Carole (late Bernie) and Sue; his siblings-in-law, Michael, Tim (Shelba), Margie (Garry) and Loretta; and his friends, Bruce and Janet Babbitt. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Burns Kish Funeral Homes & Cremations - Munster (8415 Calumet Ave, Munster, IN 46321). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
