She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Sylvester and Solvan Sylvester; her husband Robert Kobeszka; her brother James Sylvester; her daughter Caren Mohr; and her grandsons, Wayne and Phillip Abell.
She is survived by: her brother Richard Sylvester; her children, Cynthia Houlihan (Kevin) and Robert Kobeszka Jr.; her grandchildren, Quinn Houlihan, Theresa (Art), Wesley Daulton (Candice), Kyle Houlihan (Enedina) and Sheena Latham; her great grandchildren, Austin, Steven, Storm, Zoe, Jasmine, Avery, Natalie, Lucas, Charlotte and Ceecee; and her great great grandchildren, Natalia and Jalen. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home (3227 Ridge Rd, Lansing, IL 60438). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 9:00 AM at the same location.
