We are sad to announce that on July 1, 2025, at the age of 89, Dolores M. Zakrzewski (Lansing, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Leonard Walter; her daughter Debra Elliott; and her brothers, Raymond, Richard and Robert.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela Zochalski and Kimberly Zakrzewski; her grandchildren, Tegan Hadley (Austin), Kevin Elliott (Rachel), Nina Zochalski and Amy Bennet; her great grandchildren, Skylar, Keenan Lyda, Eve and Jade Elliott; and her son-in-law David Elliott. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the All Souls Catholic Parish (3010 Ridge Rd, Lansing, IL 60438). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations in Dolores's name to the American Cancer Society or ASPCA.
