She was predeceased by : her husband Robert Stooksbury; and her parents, Dwight Foster and Irene Foster. She is survived by : her children, Pamela Rediger (David), Ronald Stooksbury (Paula), Gail Long (Timothy) and Todd Stooksbury (Julie).

Visitation was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Smits Funeral Home (2121 Pleasant Springs Ln, Dyer, IN 46311). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Memory Lane Memorial Park (6305 W Lincoln Hwy Hwy, Crown Point, IN 46307).
