She was predeceased by: her husband Claude J. Barkowski; her parents, William Joseph and Florence Schulze; her children, Susan Barkowski and Steven J.; her daughter-in-law Debbie Barkowski; and her siblings, William, Thomas, Francis, Edward, James, John, Lori and Patricia.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Cramer and Brian F. Barkowski; and her grandchildren, Jason Barkowski (Emily), Nicholas Barkowski (Laken), Brandon Carouso and Breanna Nemeth. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home (3227 Ridge Rd, Lansing, IL 60438). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
