She was predeceased by: her son Evan; her parents, John Matthys and Rhoda Matthys; and her brother Mark. She is survived by: her siblings, Linda Seward (Cliff), Judy Matthys and Mike Matthys (Laurie). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
