He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Varnak and Catherine Varnak. He is survived by: his wife Toni Altier; his children, Kelly Schmit (Jeff) and Johnny Varnak (Julie); his stepchildren, Dawn Pozen (Mathew), David Altier (Marta) and Dan Altier (Kim); and his sisters, Laura Rodriguez, Denise Kowalczyk and Sharon Crismon.
