He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Dan Podgorski (RoxAnne) and Kathy Podgorski; his grandchildren, BreAnne Podgorski, Courtney Podgorski (Dylan Angell), Lincoln Podgorski, Caden Podgorski and Miley Podgorski; his sister Patricia Piekarski (Frank); his nephew Timothy Piekarski (Wendy); his niece Pamela Rezack (Rick); Virginia Podgorski.
He also rediscovered his love of dancing and just prior to the pandemic he was planning on starting a Lansing Jitterbug Club.
