She was predeceased by: her husband Jose A. Rosalez; her parents, Carmen G. Chavez and Antonio A. Chavez; her siblings, Antonio G. Chavez, Rudolfo G. Chavez and Juanita Chavez; and her granddaughter Alexis J. Cortes.
She is survived by: her daughters, Naomi Rosalez (Benjamin DeJesus) and Andrea Rosalez (Ruben Davila Sr.); her grandchildren, Nia Hoefler (Adam), Lissa Barrios and Ruben Davila Jr. (family: Mariah Davila, Nadia Torres, Andrew Davila); her great grandchildren, Angel Vellon, Lorelei Hoefler, Malakai Vellon, Liam Hoefler, Ruben A. Davila, Matteo Carrillo and Mavis Davila; and her siblings, Gloria Chavez-Gomez, Arthur Chavez Sr. (San Juana Maria), Jose Chavez Sr. (Doreen), Victor Chavez Sr. (Tina), Raquel Galbraith (Paul), Jesus Chavez (Louise) and Celia O'Brien (Michael). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home (3227 Ridge Rd, Lansing, IL 60438). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home Chapel (3227 Ridge Rd, Lansing, IL 60438).
