He was predeceased by : his former life partner Mary; his parents, Stephen Mayerak and Sylvana Mayerak; and his sons, Sherman and Alan Mayerak.

He is survived by : his wife Myra; his son Jim (Betty); his daughter-in-law Dawn (late Sherman); his stepdaughter-in-law Melody Spayd (Brad); and his stepsons, Kyle Wiening, Kurt Wiening (Ann) and Keith Wiening (Kelly).
