With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steven D. Gelatka of Lansing, Illinois, who passed away on February 7, 2024 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Ronald Gelatka and Joan Gelatka. He is survived by : his daughter Nicole Slechta (Michael); his grandsons, Michael Jr., James, John, Christopher, William and Nicolas; and his siblings, Ronald (Olivia), Michael (Linda) and Gina Hilt (David).

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the American Cancer Society in Steve's name.
