He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn; and his son William "Butch" Van Duyn. He is survived by: his children, Verla Demopoulos (Chris) and Brian Van Duyn; his grandchildren, Greg Demopoulos (Maria), Nick Demopoulos, Melissa Demopoulos and Alex Van Duyn (Jena); his great grandchildren, Kloe Demopoulos, Eli Demopoulos (Emily), Myles Demopoulos, Eva Demopoulos, Ari Demopoulos, Ezra Demopoulos, Harrison Van Duyn and Henry Van Duyn; his great great grandchild James Wiliam Demopoulos; and his sister-in-law Rosemary Ale. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
