She was predeceased by : her parents, Zerbin Pealer and Leveria Honse Pealer; her former life partner Jack Abel Wilson; her husband Eugene Francis Dobbs, Sr.; her son Geoffrey Wilson; and her grandchildren, Molly Marie Bryniarski and Joshua Murphy Dobbs. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and two nieces.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to the Lawrence County Humane Society, P.O. Box 415, Lawrenceville, IL 62439 in Barbara's name.
