Denise Dickerson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Denise Dickerson of Lawrenceville, Illinois, who passed away on June 6, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Watson and Shirley Watson (Conover); and her brother Dennis Joseph Watson. She is survived by: her husband Jim; her sons, Christopher Dickerson (Nicole) of Champaign and Travis Dickerson (Angela) of Shelbyville, Kentucky; her sister Paula Waggoner (Steve) of Avon, Ohio; and her grandchildren, Benjamin, Ava, Joseph and Carly Dickerson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home (1303 12th St, Lawrenceville, IL 62439). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lawrence County Delta Theta Tau.
